How we handle children's data
A child can be on the list without being on the internet. This page sets out exactly what that means.

1. What a child account is
A child account lets a young person tick things off and vote in polls inside a room their parent is already in. It exists only because a parent created it, and it lives inside that parent's room.
Child accounts need an active Pro subscription, and a parent gives permission before the account is created.
2. What we collect
- A display name the parent chooses. It does not need to be a real name.
- A four digit PIN, stored in a form we cannot read back.
- The tasks the child ticks off and the polls they vote in, so the room's list stays accurate.

3. What we never collect
- An email address or a phone number.
- A photograph of a child. There is no profile photo on a child account.
- A date of birth or a precise location.
- Anything for advertising. Analytics are switched off entirely on a child account.
4. Who can see a child's account
Only the people in the room the child belongs to. Rooms do not overlap, and nothing a child does in one room appears anywhere else. A child cannot message anyone in the app.
5. What a parent controls
- A parent approves every child before the account exists.
- Only a parent can reset a forgotten PIN.
- A parent can delete a child's account at any time from the room's settings.
- A child cannot buy anything, change who is in the room, or be made an admin.
7. Deleting a child's account
When a parent deletes a child's account, the display name and PIN are erased immediately and permanently. Tasks the child ticked in a shared room stay in the room's history, shown as a former member, so the house record is not torn apart.

8. Your rights as a parent
