Make a room
A room is a home. Name it, pick a colour, and it exists. Everything inside it stays inside it: its own list, its own people, its own history.

Six characters is the whole invite. Text it, read it out, or let people scan the QR. Turn on approvals if you would rather check who comes in.

Write the first thing down
Two taps. The plus, then the title. Who it is for, when it is due and which kind of job it is are all optional, and you can add them later or never.
That is the whole setup. Everything after this is the house using it.

One stream, one plus button
Tasks, house notices and polls arrive in the same place, in the order they happened. Nothing is filed in a tab nobody opens.
For families
A child can be on the list without being on the internet
A parent invites a child by showing a QR code on their own phone. The child signs in with a four digit PIN they choose together. We never ask a child for an email address or a phone number, and we never store a photograph of one.
- A parent approves every child, and is the only person who can reset a forgotten PIN.
- A child can tick things off and vote in polls. They cannot buy anything, change who is in the room, or be made an admin.
- Analytics are switched off entirely on a child account, and nothing about a child is ever sold or shared for advertising.
Child accounts need an active Pro subscription, and a parent gives permission before the account is created.

Students save 30 percent
$6.99 a month or $62.99 a year, once your student status is verified. Verification is handled by a specialist service, so we never see or keep your student ID.
Pro is per person, not per house. Four flatmates who all want Pro pay four times, and a house where only one person wants reports pays once. Prices shown in US dollars, and your store may charge the local equivalent. Subscriptions renew until you cancel them in the App Store.

What happens when someone moves out?
Their open tasks go back to the room so nothing quietly disappears, and the history stays. Their past entries show as a former member. If they set the room up, admin passes to someone else, because a room is never left without one.
What if something gets done late?
Nothing happens. A task nobody got to is marked missing, in words, and doing it afterwards still counts as done. No red badges, no penalty, no mark against anyone.
Does everyone in the house have to pay?
No. Everyone can use Housemates free. Pro is per person, so one person can have reports, unlimited history and child accounts while the rest of the house carries on free.
Who can see our room?
Only the people in it. Rooms do not overlap, and nothing you write in one appears in another.
How do I cancel Pro?
In your App Store subscription settings, not here, because the store holds the subscription. Cancelling stops the next payment and Pro stays on until the period you paid for ends.
Can I delete my account?
Yes, in the app, and it happens immediately. Deletion is permanent and there is no recovery, so take a room export first if you want a copy. Your past tasks stay in your rooms as a former member so the house history is not torn apart.
